This piece expresses that feeling when everything in life is running smoothly. The smooth, curved lines represent the easy going flow that comes with that feeling. The areas between where the lines cross are filled with bright, vibrant colors. The colored sections and the intersections of lines represent the connections made in life. As with life, every relationship and connections elicits a different feeling. But if you keep moving along the lines you'll experience the feelings and keep grooving. - Jimi Keirn
ABOUT THIS ARTIST
Jimi Keirn is a self-taught artist from McAllen, TX. He paints feelings using color and motion. Every experience and every moment of every day comes with feelings. For years, he suppressed and ran from those feelings. He was unsure what they meant, didn’t like how they felt, and inevitably ran from them. Avoiding his feelings led to loneliness and isolation, stunting his emotional and spiritual growth. But then he found art. Painting allows him to set those emotions free. It lets him put onto canvas what he can’t put into words. His hope is that my art connects to everyone on some level.
