A Tribute Tree is a meaningful way to honor someone special, celebrate a moment, or grow a lasting, living memory. Give a lasting tribute that grows for generations. Honor a loved one or anniversary, remember a beloved pet or person, celebrate a graduation or birthday, or mark a special milestone by planting a native Tribute Tree in one of McAllen‘s city parks or other public spaces.

Your $300 contribution includes: 

• Purchase of an approved tree

• Planting by Parks & Rec

• Initial establishment

• Commemorative recognition

The species and planting location will be determined by McAllen Parks & Rec based on site suitability, urban forestry standards, and availability. 

Any contribution towards trees is always welcome. All donations are tax deductible. This program is in partnership with the City of McAllen Parks & Recreation Department.
