ABOUT THIS PIECE

The art piece portals was inspired by the beauty in which the fading of night brings. It's showcases the moon in the waning crescent faze specifically when it lumination is at 19%, the moon cycle never ends. Symbolizing birth growth and renewal. The moon connects us all as we all see it those who came before and those who will come after. Flowers are known as a symbol of beauty, and a gift. They are both in this symbolizing the beauty and gift of life. - Joclyn Montelongo
