Guffo likes the simple line, doodle style, because his intention is always to say a lot with few lines and make a style that is kind, friendly and easy to recognize.



This mural aims to show the richness and variety of the state of Texas and the importance of the city of McAllen, which Guffo has visited since his childhood. For the people of Monterrey, where the artist was born, McAllen has always been like a second home.

ABOUT THIS ARTIST

Guffo has drawn political cartoons in newspapers and magazines, sports cartoons on TV and done storyboards and graphic design in advertising agencies in Mexico, the country where he resides. As a political cartoonist he has won several international cartoon contests in London, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway and Canada. He started painting murals in 2020 and has done more than 30 to date.
