ABOUT THIS PIECE

I wanted to share on a painting the history around us and what better than our own Texas Historic Landmark located in Mission, Texas: La Lomita. It was also included into the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. To me, La Lomita, reminds me of faith, dedication and service to others. No matter what religion we belong, we all search for a higher ground, a ground that helps us to be happy and fulfill our destination. - Cibele Saporito
