There is a time of the year that the mesquite tree in the valley, as some might say that they are blooming. Where the tree has these stick like pods that hang from the tree with a big thorn on the end. Being a kid a playing all round these seeds the tree provided where we actually enjoyed playing outside. These trees were our playground and also fueled the flame and flavor to my dads BBQ. We can’t even ignore their little friend that screams so loud as we all try to mimic that chichara. Besides a palm tree the mesquite is in my favor. - Erasmo Reyes Jr.

ABOUT THIS ARTIST

Born and raised in the Valley, Erasmo is a husband and a father with a very creative mind and hope that it something his kids enjoy while growing up. He started off drawing and eventually took his art into a form of a tattoo being taught various ways. He loves how anything colorful and creative with design can really change a mood.

Erasmo has about 6 years doing tattoos and he can say there are endless amount of talents and techniques that all artist have and it’s amazing. Many more paintings to come and have also picked up the art paintings on pairs of shoes.
