I took photos of the South Padre Island sunrises every chance I got this summer. I painted my favorite ones, but this was my absolute favorite. There is something spectacular about the colors inspired by nature. This pipe was a representation of the sunset on 8.21.23. -

ABOUT THIS ARTIST
Jimi Keirn is a self-taught artist from McAllen, TX. He paints feelings using color and motion. Every experience and every moment of every day comes with feelings. For years, he suppressed and ran from those feelings. He was unsure what they meant, didn’t like how they felt, and inevitably ran from them. Avoiding his feelings led to loneliness and isolation, stunting his emotional and spiritual growth. But then he found art. Painting allows him to set those emotions free. It lets him put onto canvas what he can’t put into words. His hope is that my art connects to everyone on some level.
